Sahdism is collection of one-liners, anecdotes, and reflections about being a Stay-At-Home Dad. It began as my snarky comments in facebook and it really connected with my friends, most of whom are parents as well. It is my warm and witty look upon my life being the primary caregiver to my kids.
It’s also a word-play on sadism but it’s a little inaccurate. Parenting is more masochistic than sadistic but I couldn’t come up with an acronym for that.
Laughter is an important part of Sahdism. I’ve found it to be the best coping mechanism around (although hard liquor is a close second). If you enjoy my musings, feel free to comment and share, I’d love to hear from you.
